A very proud day for all concerned!

Ambassador for Spinal Research

Nick is very pleased to announce that he has been appointed an Ambassador for the Spinal Research "Saddle Up for Spinal Research" campaign.  Having suffered a serious spinal injury Nick fully appreciates how important the continuing medical advances in research to find treatments for paralysis.

We say "goodbye" to Carlo

We have said "goodbye" to Carlo 273, or rather, we have said "adios" - Carlo has been sold to an excellent new home and will be ridden by the talented Spanish rider Sergio Alvares Moya.

He left Nick's stables with a bag full of Polo mints and his favourite rugs.

We wish Sergio and Carlo the very best for the future.

Welcome home filmed by ITV

Welcome home Nick & Big Star!

Nick arrives home to a huge champagne reception from his family and friends, quickly followed by Big Star sharing the horsebox with Hello Sanctos and Scott Brash as well!

As soon as we all heard Nick was on his way home (thanks Laura!) the cell phone network became red hot phoning Nick's family who dropped everything (quite literally in some cases) and drove over to his stables near Alcester.  One friend immediately jumped in her car, drove for 4 hours from Aberystwyth on the Welsh coast and arrived just in time, actually following the Kenninghall horsebox up the lane to the stables.

Well done everyone who managed to get there in time and thank you all so much for making it a great day.

PS  Who brought that jeroboam of champagne?  Good call!
